A musing is someone’s thoughts on something. After 7 years of earning money on the Internet I have seen it all. Here are my thoughts and observations on using the internet to make money.
1. Email marketing is still the best way to earn money online when done correctly. There is a skill to building an opt in list and making money mailing to it.
However there is no denying that Internet marketers with large mailing lists make a lot of money online. Building a large email marketing list early in your Internet business is one thing you should focus on.
2. Building a large website or blog around a specific theme is a great way to create multiple streams of income. It’s also an outstanding way to attract traffic and build your email marketing list.
The key is to always be adding fresh content that a website visitor would be interested in reading. Search engines love large websites and blogs that are constantly being updated. This can lead to great free traffic over a long period of time.
3. Don’t try to be the jack of all trades when it comes to building an Online business. You are better off doing things in your business you like and outsourcing the rest.
4. Backlinks are roads leading to your Internet business. You can never have too many backlinks. They continue to drive traffic to your website long after you initially get them.
5. Making money on the internet is fun once you know how to do it. However the initial phase of learning how to use the Internet to earn money can be frustrating.
For this reason you must have a crystal clear reason why you want to make money. This will help motivate you at times when the money is not coming in and you feel like quitting.
6. Pay attention to trends on the Internet as things are constantly changing. Social media is a perfect example of this.
If you are not utilizing social marketing to make money online you are missing out on excellent opportunities. Examples of social marketing include blogging, discussion forums, online videos, Twitter, Facebook, and anything that allows you to interact with people on the internet in a social way.
7. There are other proven ways to make money online if you do them the right way. These include taking paid surveys, data entry, typing at home, being a virtual assistant, writing blog articles, network marketing, affiliate marketing, and much more!
These are a few of my musings as I see it when it pertains to using the Internet to make money. Sadly many people will fail at making money on the internet and ultimately it comes down to learning how and then working hard. If you are willing to do that you can earn as much money as you want on the Internet.

10 Things You Need To Know If You Are Trying To Make Money On The Internet
It is almost ten years now since I made my first money on the internet and there are a number of things that I wish I knew back then, when I embarked on the journey of making money online. I am no Guru and am not claiming to be one. I have listed ten things that I think are important for every person trying to make money on the internet
1. Multiple websites
You can make money on the internet without having a website. However, if you want to make a living from working online, you will definitely need a good web presence. Strive to have more than one website to promote your niche. It is much easier making $5000 from 10 sites ($500 per site), than making the same $5000 from only one site. Thus when you have identified your niche, duplicate your success.
2. Be prepared to work
This brings us to the next point of working hard. There are so many promises of easy money online, but I repeat, if you want to make a living online, then you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves.
3. Set clear goals from the beginning
It is very important to have both short term and long term goals. Short term will help you carry out the day to day activities confidently e.g. set a goal to write five articles every week. Long term goals should be set quite high but should be achievable eventually
4. Build traffic through organic means.
Targeted traffic is the key to your long term success. Don’t even bother having adsense on your site first, if you have less than 300 unique visitors a day.
5. SEO
You need to know at least the basics of search engine optimization. Then use grey hat tactics rather than purely white hat tactics. An example of a grey hat tactic is by purchasing well researched high page rank backlinks . Remember that search engines will rank your pages first and not your website. So make sure that your pages are all well optimized. Strive to have people visiting particular pages of your website rather than just the homepage. Good keyword selection will enable you to rank well in the natural search engine results and also target people who are looking for information about a specific subject.
6. Use article marketing
Article marketing is very useful if you are trying to generate backlinks and traffic to your site, so look for well ranked directories to publish your articles. Be consistent in your publishing and eventually you will see traffic building up through the search engines
7. Forums and Web 2.0
Join a marketing forum and other social media to get a broader view of the market. Your signature link on the forums also acts as a useful backlink builder. It’s even been suggested by some that every post you make in the high PR forums acts as one backlink for your SEO efforts. So the more contribution you make in a forum the more backlinks you will get. Other members will also view you as an expert in your field and will be inclined to visit your website for clarifications and more advice, ultimately leading to more leads and sales.
8. Have a mentor
I realized late in my career that I needed to have a good mentor. By getting a good mentor like Stone Evans, I was able to shorten my learning curve by at least two years.
9. Build a mailing list
It is important to have a responsive list that you will regularly post to. Start the mailing list as early as possible. So if you have a six month old website and haven’t build a mailing list, start immediately
10. Research
You need to research on your market regularly and be prepared to keep on learning. Search engines like Google have continuously changed their methods and algorithms, so you need to adopt

Making Money Online Not That Hard
About five years ago I decided I wanted to start an online business. So I began searching for information online. I found a lot of information, some of which was free, but most of which I had to pay for. Regardless, the amount of information available online for starting in online business, is truly amazing.
I decided that if I wanted to learn everything I possibly could about starting in online business, then I would need to absorb all the information I could find. Which meant that I purchased many programs and spent lots of money getting this information. The one thing I learned is that the right information is priceless.
So what does it take to start making money online? You need a simple plan of action and the willingness to just start and take baby steps in the direction of your goals. Then just do it! Then observe the effects and continue on with the next step or make corrections.
I know for a fact that it’s possible to make money online and it is highly probable if you have the right tools and information and take the action necessary with a positive attitude towards success.
So where do you start? It begins with a willingness to take chances and venture into unknown territory, learning from everyone you can. A good beginning would be learning the basics about finding a product to sell and how to market a product online, building a website, and then going on from there.
The best way is learning from a mentor who has already gone through all the steps necessary to be successful and knows all the pitfalls of running an online business. Or you can even use a program that teaches you what you need to do in order to become successful.
There are some really great programs online that can help you start to earn the extra money you need. Finding the right program is great but you have to make sure you actually do what they say.
In conclusion, I only have this to say. Nothing gets started without taking action, so do something positive in your life today and at least search for some answers. You will never know what you can do unless you try. Also remember that if you do not put in the effort, you will not be successful. Hard work will equal your success.

The other day I promised you an honest review of the new and
upcoming Easy IM Profits program, which holds great mystery
as to why so many people are succeeding with it.
Well I’ve been lucky enough to get my hands on a trial copy,
and this is what I’ve found…
Access
When I registered for the program, I could choose my own
login details which were instantly active after I sent off
my payment. Basically, there were no waiting time as I could
log in to get started on the course straight away.
Layout
The course itself is laid out inside an actual members area,
which looks really neat. Each section of the course has its
own section within the members area, all clearly laid out in
the order that you should progress through them.
In my opinion, this is the best thing about the course, as
I knew exactly where to start and exactly where I should go
next. This is something that other courses lack, big style.
Content
Wow, is there a lot of content in here! As mentioned before,
it’s not all jumbled about either, so I had no confusion
about where to get started.
In total there are Five modules, each with many videos
inside, with the average being about 30 minutes long
for each video. Also, each video finishes with a few
“Action Steps”, which show you what to do next before
you move onto the next video.
The course starts with an “Introduction” section, which
explains everything about the course, how to get the best
results from it, and a basic introduction to Internet
Marketing. Also, this section contains some mindset
training videos which helped me out a lot, as I’ve learnt
that a lot of the stuff going round nowadays and the stuff
that people are saying is actually wrong information.
After that, there’s the “Genesis” section. Now, this is
where the meat of the course begins.
James walks you through important topics I never knew
about before including how to create a good product idea,
how to do online niche research (with hardly any effort),
and how to recognize who your audience is and what they
want, which everyone knows will boost your cash in the
long run.
The only thing I would suggest is that because of the amount
of stuff he goes through, he talks too fast sometimes and
it’s worth pausing the video to catch up on your notes.
Next is the “Product Creation” section, which did exactly
as promised – helped me create my very first full-blown
product.
The biggest video here is the “Product Creation 101″ video,
as he shows you everything you need to know about building
your own information product (in any niche), including
e-books, an audio series, and also a video course just like
this one. After that, he shows you how to set up your
website, including writing the sales page and setting up
your payment systems, as well as your very own blog.
In fact, I thought this was going to be the hardest part
of the course, but it was actually taught without any
technical jargon that other so-called “Gurus” like to
use all the time. This meant that I could follow the
videos easily and finally understand some golden nuggets
that i’ll be using right away.
The next section he goes through is the “Cash Time” section,
which I think is named to reflect what’s inside – the cash.
In this section, I learned all about list building and
traffic generation, before finally releasing my newly-created
product in my very own product launch. In fact, there’s
some stuff in here that even my friend who makes a good
income from IM didn’t know about!
When you place your order, there’s also the option to take
up the Profit Boosters section add-on, which I gladly took
him up on. I highly recommend doing the same, as this section
is jam-packed full of cool videos that most people fail to
teach to newbies.
For example, there’s a tutorial about video marketing and
how you can get started for virtually free, E-Mail Marketing
(which follows on from the list building video), how to create
awesome content for your website and blog, how to improve your
virtual sales funnel for more cash, and a lot more awesome
videos which I can’t possibly list all of them here.
Oh yeah, that’s another thing too – all of the videos within
the members area show you how to succeed with a very small
budget. In fact, most of the tools he recommends inside the
course are actually free, so there’s no worries about raking
up extra costs once inside.
Price
Now this is something that I can’t really comment on, because I
got my copy for free. And the truth is that James said he
doesn’t actually know how much he’s going to charge for this.
But if I was going to pay for this course myself, I’d gladly pay
anything up to $497. We’ll just have to wait and see!
